SERVICES WE PROVIDE

Let AZ Canine Fitness Design the Perfect Program For Your Dog!

We customize each physical therapy program based on your dog’s individual needs, as well as your available time and budget

Functional Strength & Conditioning

Canine Fitness Training focuses on five aspects of canine total health: Strength, Flexibility, Balance, Cardiorespiratory and Mental Endurance. Canine Fitness Training is for dogs of ALL ages and stages!

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is a low-impact treatment that can help to improve strength, range of motion and endurance. Water minimizes stress to the joints, which helps prevent injuries, inflammation and pain.

Puppy & Senior Programs

Fitness can help a young dog build their strength as they grow. It can improve the quality of life for an older dog, whether they struggle with mobility or you are just looking to keep them active and healthy.

Rehabilitation & Injury Management

Rehabilitation Therapy is a course of treatments to improve pain reduction, healing, and function when sick, injured, recovering, or aging. It is also beneficial for dogs that are not candidates for surgery.

Massage Therapy

Through direct work on a dog’s soft tissues, canine massage can improve blood flow, alleviate stress, reduce pain, relax tight and sore muscles, and help heal sprains and strains.

Weight Loss Program

Obesity can take up to 2 years off the lifespan of our furry friends and over 30% of dogs are overweight! With just a 6% reduction in weight we can see pain relief equal to that of a prescription drug!

Appointment Types

Multiple Appointment Types for Maximum Flexibility

Initial Assessment

60-90 minute appointment covers: Medical & injury history, weight, gait and posture assessment, body condition & muscle scoring and functional range-of-motion tests, all which help us to design the most beneficial program for your dog

Mobile Therapy

For established patients: We bring equipment to your home and work through a customized fitness plan for your dog. We also show you how to complete the exercises in the plan with items you have in your home.

In-Suite Therapy

In our dog gym and using varied equipment, we are able to complete more complex and advanced fitness sessions. We can also work on our indoor treadmill & outside on our large grassy area which helps to calm reactive dogs.

In-Suite Hydrotherapy

Therapeutic ramps lead up to our heated & cooled 16′ x 9′ hydrotherapy swim spa. Our swim spa can be used with up to 3 jets or therapeutic exercises can be completed on our custom equipment in the water.

Virtual Follow-Ups

We can meet virtually in-between program changes or for weight check-ins. We will review homework and progression of exercises as well as answer questions in order to determine next-steps for treatment.

Online Programs

Our 3-4 part online only programs are tailored to specific age groups or fitness goals. These can be purchased through the website and completed on your own after the initial assessment and vet approval.
